Byal IzvorBulgaria

The scene is an interior detail located in Byal Izvor, Bulgaria. A single, heavily rusted, dark brown padlock rests on its side on a light-colored tiled surface. The padlock's shackle is also significantly corroded and appears disengaged from one side of the lock body. A small, rectangular, tarnished metallic plate is affixed to the top surface of the padlock. The tiled surface, consisting of approximately 10x10 cm square tiles with visible grout lines, is heavily covered in dark granular debris, dust, and scattered white particulate matter. To the immediate left, a vertical wall section, painted a light color, displays extensive peeling paint, revealing underlying darker material. A vertical wooden trim piece is positioned at the junction of the wall and the tiled surface. Numerous cobwebs are visible, particularly in the upper right background and along the wall-tile intersection. The background beyond the tiled surface is dark and indistinct. The environment indicates significant accumulation of dirt and long-term disuse. No individuals are present.
