A partially decayed tree stump is present in a grassy outdoor area, located in Tapaiteng Uesa, Bhutan. The stump, positioned centrally within the frame, is dark brown with a textured, ridged surface. Patches of gray lichen and green moss are visible on its exterior. The top of the stump features an irregular, concave depression from which several blades of green grass and small plants protrude vertically. A single light-colored stick is lodged vertically within a crevice on the stump's lower-left side. The ground immediately surrounding the stump consists of closely cut green grass interspersed with smaller ground cover plants. To the lower-left of the stump, on the grass, a cluster of approximately five to seven striped caterpillars is visible, each displaying alternating dark and lighter brown or orange fuzzy segments. Bare soil is exposed around the immediate base of the stump. The background comprises additional grassy terrain, receding into the distance, with a darker horizontal line discernible in the upper-left, possibly indicating a change in elevation or an edge. The scene is illuminated by direct daylight. No individuals are present.
