An intricately crafted Saja (lion) mask is displayed centrally against a plain white wall in what appears to be a museum or cultural exhibition space in Andong-si, South Korea. The mask is predominantly light brown and tan, featuring a wide, grinning mouth with painted white teeth and red lips. Its prominent, rounded nose is detailed with reddish-brown spots. The eyes are circular, outlined in reddish-brown, with white and black detailing. Dark, irregular, stripe-like patterns resembling fur or brushstrokes are painted across the forehead and cheeks, interspersed with white accents. Two dark brown, triangular ear-like structures protrude from the top. The entire mask is framed by a dense, shaggy mane and beard crafted from numerous strands of light-brown or tan yarn, which are knotted and braided around the perimeter of the mask's face. A small rectangular label bearing the Korean text "사자" (Saja) is positioned directly below the mask. A portion of another artifact, featuring a circular wooden pattern, is partially visible on the far right edge of the frame.
