The image depicts the Komitas Monument and Fountain, situated in a park area adjacent to the Armenian National Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet, within the Kentron district of Yerevan, Armenia. The scene is captured at night, under artificial illumination. The primary subject is a multi-block monument constructed from light-colored stone. A prominent bas-relief bust of Komitas, a male figure in profile facing right, is carved into a large, rectangular block on the monument's upper-left section. The monument's overall structure is composed of various interlocking and offset rectangular stone blocks, creating recesses and protrusions. On the lower-right side of the monument, a water spigot extends, from which water flows vertically into a shallow, circular basin on the ground. This basin is surfaced with small, reflective, square mosaic tiles. The immediate foreground features a paved walkway of light gray rectangular tiles, exhibiting dark wet spots. To the left of the walkway is disturbed brown earth with sparse, dry vegetation. To the right of the fountain's basin, a small area of green grass is visible. The background is dominated by numerous bare deciduous trees, suggesting a winter or late autumn season. Many tree trunks are wrapped with strings of white decorative lights. Tall streetlights are interspersed throughout the park. A large architectural building, the Opera and Ballet Theatre, is prominently visible in the background, brightly illuminated with warm orange and yellow light, emphasizing its arched windows and classical design. Faint, indistinct human figures are discernible in the distance near the illuminated trees and a street where vehicle lights are faintly visible on the far left. The sky is dark.
