A close-up, vertical forensic photograph depicts a section of a tree trunk within Cimacan, Indonesia. The rough, textured bark displays a complex pattern of biological growth. Numerous patches of pale green fruticose lichens, characterized by their branching, hair-like structures, are irregularly distributed across the surface. Interspersed among these are areas of darker green mosses and crustose lichens ranging in color from olive green to brownish-yellow. Exposed sections of the bark are dark brown with reddish hues, and sporadic lighter, whitish-grey patches are also present. A single, small, spherical orange-yellow growth, possibly a fungus or another type of lichen, is visible in the upper left quadrant. No human subjects or artificial objects are present.
