The scene depicts a clear, light blue sky occupying the top third, meeting a vast expanse of deep blue ocean. A large, dark-hulled cargo ship is visible in the distant open water, positioned towards the upper right. Two distinct, faint white wakes, indicative of smaller, fast-moving vessels, are present in the ocean; one is visible further out, and another closer to the shore, both generally heading towards the right. The coastline features a prominent crescent-shaped sandy beach with light brown sand at the bottom center. This beach is partially enclosed by two dark rock breakwaters that extend from the land on either side, curving into the turquoise-colored bay to form a sheltered area. Along the landward edge of the beach, a row of approximately 15-20 terraced buildings with red-tiled roofs and light-colored facades are visible.
