Pleven Panorama, a monument complex in Pleven, Bulgaria, dedicated to the soldiers who died during the Siege of Plevna in the Russo-Turkish War of 1877-78. The central structure is the St. George the Conqueror Chapel Mausoleum, a large, domed church with red and white striped stone walls and green accents. In front of the mausoleum are several flags, including the European Union flag and the Bulgarian flag. To the left of the mausoleum are several tall evergreen trees and a lamppost. To the right, behind a decorative iron gate, are more trees and two cannons mounted on stone pedestals. A wide paved plaza extends into the foreground, with a checkered pattern of light and dark gray tiles. In the background, on the right side of the image, two individuals, an adult and a child, are walking away from the viewer. The sky is bright blue with scattered white clouds. The overall scene is well-maintained and suggests a bright, clear day.
