JosNigeria

A heavily corroded, vintage Bedford Kitcar is displayed within a metal wire mesh enclosure at the Jos Museum complex in Jos, Nigeria. The vehicle, an antique model with faded blue paint but predominantly covered in reddish-brown rust, shows a license plate with "L692..." on its front. A distinct spoke wheel is visible on its right side. The cage, constructed from dark, square-grid wire mesh, is topped with a corrugated metal roof. A blue padlock secures the cage's front-left gate. Attached to the cage is a reddish-brown sign with white text, stating: "BEDFORD KITCAR PRESENTED BY MR AND MRS W.L.F. MILES (MINERS) IT WAS ONE OF THE FIRST KIT CARS USED BY MINERS IN PLATEAU". The enclosure rests on a low, rough-hewn stone wall. The ground inside and surrounding the exhibit is dry, light-colored dirt, with some debris including a white plastic bag outside the cage. Dense green foliage forms the background. No people are visible.
