GantenIndonesia

The image depicts an outdoor scene in Ganten, Indonesia, featuring at least six individuals lying prone on reddish-brown earth and gravel in the foreground. Five of these individuals are attired in traditional Jathilan or Kuda Lumping performance costumes, consisting of dark long-sleeved shirts, dark trousers, patterned sashes or skirts in black, red, and yellow, and elaborate black fiber headpieces. One performer wears a black shirt with "SINGO" text visible and rests their head on a patterned mat. Another individual lies face down in a blue t-shirt and white patterned shorts, distinct from the performers. Some individuals are barefoot, while others wear sneakers. In the midground, green grass and several slender, palm-like plants are present. The background features two buildings: a light blue structure with a reddish-brown tiled roof and two brown-framed windows on the left, partially obscured by dense green foliage; and a white-facaded building with a similar tiled roof on the right, displaying a partially visible sign with "VISI." A group of approximately twenty to thirty spectators is gathered on a grassy slope in the far background, observing the scene while sitting or standing. One person in a blue t-shirt and white shorts stands near the left building, facing right. The prone postures of the individuals in costume are consistent with a state of trance or exhaustion associated with their performance.
