An outdoor scene in Kirana, Nigeria, depicts the construction of a single-story building under a clear blue sky

KiranaNigeria

An outdoor scene in Kirana, Nigeria, depicts the construction of a single-story building under a clear blue sky. The building features walls constructed from grey concrete blocks with three rectangular window openings on its visible facade, currently unglazed. A hip-and-valley roof structure is partially completed. The lower portion of the roof is covered with dark brown, corrugated metal tiles. Above this, the upper section of the roof framework consists of exposed wooden trusses and battens. Three individuals are visible on the roof; two are positioned on the brown tiled section, actively working with what appear to be roof panels. Their clothing is dark. On the ground in the foreground, covered in dry, light brown grass, two adult males stand facing the building, observing the ongoing work. One man wears a dark jacket over light trousers, while the other wears a long, loose-fitting orange-brown garment. A third individual is partially visible on the far right. Near the base of the building, piles of wooden planks are scattered, indicative of construction materials. A black object lies on the grass in the immediate foreground. Sunlight illuminates the scene from the left, casting subtle shadows.
