The tree bark is heavily textured, gray-brown, and displays numerous patches of light green and white lichen. Small green plant sprouts, including what appear to be young ferns and grass, emerge from crevices in the bark and at the base of the roots. A distinct, elongated horizontal hollow is visible in a surface root on the right side of the frame, exposing darker, possibly decayed, wood within.
