The image depicts a natural rock tunnel, known as the "Stone Guardians" (Chudnite skali), located near Asparuhovo, Bulgaria. A wide, unpaved gravel road passes directly through a massive, grey, weathered rock formation that forms a natural archway. The rock face to the left of the arch is steep and textured, with sparse, bare deciduous trees and shrubs growing along its base; some white blossoms are visible on a bush in the lower-left foreground. The ground to the left of the road is covered in grass and loose soil. Beyond the archway, further down the road, a dark-colored SUV or van is parked, facing away from the viewer. Two indistinct human figures stand near the front passenger side of the vehicle, within the tunnel's opening.
