A dark-skinned human hand, palm open, displays three raw mineral specimens at Oduma Hill, Nigeria. The hand exhibits visible skin lines and ridges across its surface. One specimen, positioned in the upper-left, is an irregular, translucent crystal with faceted surfaces, displaying shades of brownish-pink and faint green. To the right, a prismatic crystal fragment, approximately 2-3 cm in length, lies horizontally, exhibiting distinct striations along its dark pink to reddish-brown body. A second, smaller prismatic crystal fragment, similar in color and striation, is positioned vertically below the irregular crystal. The background is out of focus, showing blurred dark and light indeterminate shapes.
