A white alpaca stands centrally on a reddish-brown terracotta tiled surface, in the city of Chinchero, Peru. The alpaca has visible light brown patches on its left flank and wears a decorative collar composed of multiple colorful yarn pom-poms (purple, teal, red, orange, yellow). Its muzzle and lower jaw exhibit a yellowish discoloration. The ground around the alpaca contains scattered pieces of dry grass and a thin rope. In the mid-ground, a rustic wooden fence constructed from unhewn logs separates the foreground from the background. Behind the fence, various structures are visible: to the left, a reddish wall with some green foliage; in the center-right background, a tall, unfinished building constructed from red bricks with exposed rebar or structural elements; and to the far right, a smaller, older building with a red tiled roof and earthen-colored walls. Green trees and bushes are present behind the fence and structures. No people are visible.
