Multiple shelf fungi (polypores) are observed growing on its surface; these fungi are predominantly off-white to cream-colored, with some displaying concentric ring patterns. The log is partially obscured by and nestled among a mixture of dry, light brown grasses and sparse green blades of grass. Thin, dark brown twigs and dried plant matter are also scattered across and around the log. No human activity or other subjects are present in the frame.
