A traditional Bosnian coffee service is arranged on a reddish-brown wooden table, presumed to be in Trebinje, Bosnia and Herzegovina
A traditional Bosnian coffee service is arranged on a reddish-brown wooden table, presumed to be in Trebinje, Bosnia and Herzegovina. The service occupies the lower two-thirds of the frame, centered on an ornate, circular copper tray with embossed patterns. On the tray, a small, white, handleless ceramic cup (fildžan) containing dark coffee with visible crema is positioned in the lower-left quadrant. To its right, a small copper cezve (džezva) with a long, gold-colored, ornate handle is filled with dark coffee. A domed, embossed copper lid rests near the top center of the tray. A single silver-colored spoon lies on the tray to the left of the white cup. Adjacent to the spoon, towards the upper edge of the tray, is one rectangular piece of white confectionery, identified as lokum (Turkish delight), coated with powdered sugar. The wooden table surface displays distinct grain patterns and reflections from an overhead light source. In the upper-left quadrant of the wooden table, two small, dark insects, consistent with ants, are visible.
