A human hand, skin tone brown, is observed securely holding a small freshwater turtle inverted in the city of Kedung Dowo, Indonesia. The turtle's plastron, which is the underside of its shell, is predominantly yellow with distinct, dark, irregular oval markings on each scute. Its head, displaying green and light-colored stripes, is partially visible and slightly retracted between its front limbs. All four webbed feet, also striped with green and light tones, are partially extended. The background is out of focus, revealing a light-colored tiled surface with grout lines in the upper right quadrant, suggesting a floor or wall, and a darker, uniform surface in the lower left quadrant.
