The shell is positioned on a pathway made of red and gray bricks. Sparse vegetation is growing between the bricks. The shell is two-toned with a dark gray or black pointed tip and a cylindrical brass or golden-colored base. A heavy, dark gray metal chain is draped between the shell and unseen posts on either side, forming a barrier. Behind the shell, a low retaining wall is constructed of dark gray, roughly textured bricks. Overhanging the scene from above, the leafy branches of a tree cast shadows on the wall and shell. The location is in Hoholeve, Ukraine.
