The image displays the interior of St Peter ad Vincula Church in Coggeshall, United Kingdom, viewed longitudinally from the nave towards the chancel and altar. The floor consists of light-toned, rectangular flagstones, with two metal-framed access panels visible in the immediate foreground of the central aisle. Rows of empty, light-colored wooden chairs are arranged on either side of this aisle, facing the chancel. To the left, a dark, ornately carved wooden pulpit, elevated and accessed by steps, stands adjacent to a pillar. A simple wooden crucifix is affixed to the white wall above and behind the pulpit. The church interior features tall, white-painted walls with a series of pointed arches forming arcades, supported by substantial stone pillars. The ceiling is a dark, exposed wooden structure with a coffered design. The chancel area, elevated by several steps at the far end, is dominated by a large, arched stained-glass window composed of numerous individual panels depicting colorful religious scenes and figures. Beneath this window, a carved stone reredos is visible. In front of the reredos, a wooden altar table is draped with a purple cloth.
