The upper left and top portions of the image are dominated by the dark, silhouetted leaves and branches of a large tree, with the cloudy, pale blue-gray sky visible through gaps in the foliage. The midground features a dense cluster of tropical vegetation, primarily comprising numerous palm trees and lower-lying green plants, possibly tall grasses or reeds, with a horizontal strip of water visible near the base of the vegetation. On the right side of the frame, near the horizon, a distinct bright orange-yellow light source, consistent with a gas flare from an industrial operation, is prominent against the sky.
