Firewood is stacked high within a dark, recessed alcove against a wall of white, rectangular tiles. A jumble of dry, mostly branch-like pieces of wood fills the space. The logs are various sizes and textures, some with bark remaining, others cleanly cut. A few thin, winding branches extend upward from the pile, reaching towards the top of the recess.
