An elevated perspective captures a public street area in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, during nocturnal hours

PlovdivBulgaria

An elevated perspective captures a public street area in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, during nocturnal hours. The ground surface consists of uniform grey rectangular paving stones. A black and yellow electric scooter is positioned upright against a dark building facade on the upper left, adjacent to a recessed metal grate. A linear arrangement of six vertically oriented, internally illuminated white planters, each containing mixed green foliage and small yellow and purple flowers, demarcates the boundary between the paved area and an adjacent commercial establishment's outdoor seating space. This seating area is enclosed by dark structural elements and intensely lit by a red ambient light source. Within this red-lit enclosure, one adult male is visible. He is bald, dressed in a red hooded jacket, and seated at a circular table. His posture suggests engagement with an object on the table surface. A white and red cylindrical object rests nearby on the table. A second, vacant rectangular wooden table below the first contains a metal lighter and a dark object, possibly an ashtray. Chair cushions within the seating area feature a red lip pattern, and the word "HAPPY" is legible on a lower wall section. Further along the pavement at the lower right, a dark, weighted base for an A-frame sign is present. Two additional rectangular concrete planters with foliage are situated below the glowing planters, closer to the building structure.
