An illuminated shrine or small temple structure is depicted in Koyalaguttapalli, India
An illuminated shrine or small temple structure is depicted in Koyalaguttapalli, India. The central subject is a dark-colored statue, approximately three feet tall, standing on a black rectangular pedestal. The statue, depicting a deity with hands clasped in prayer (Anjali Mudra) and a mace (gada) beside its left leg, is adorned with an elaborate orange and yellow floral garland on its head. Red markings are visible on its forehead. The statue is positioned on a raised platform with a reddish-brown floor, which is supported by a light pink-purple trim. Four blue cylindrical pillars support a flat ceiling above the platform. The rear wall is painted a light yellow or cream color. Artificial lighting illuminates the statue from above. Below the raised platform, a lighter-colored wall features a prominent painted Swastika symbol in orange with black outlines and four orange dots within its quadrants. The ground level below this wall is a darker concrete surface. To the right of the platform, a set of brown steps ascends upwards, partially obscured by one of the blue pillars. Scattered orange and yellow flower petals, along with white powder or chalk markings, are visible on the platform around the statue's base and on the ground to the right. A vertical pipe is partially visible on the left side, behind a blue pillar.
