The image displays an outdoor scene in Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina, featuring a public memorial or display area
The image displays an outdoor scene in Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina, featuring a public memorial or display area. A large, black display board on the left, titled "Museum of War and Genocide Victims 1992-1995," presents eight color photographs depicting various scenes of war destruction, including bombed cityscapes, collapsed buildings, and a UN vehicle near a damaged house. A smaller, similar display board is partially visible to the right. Between these two boards stands a light grey, cylindrical stone column with a rectangular aperture on its side. To the right of the stone column, a dark brown wooden sculpture of a human figure, viewed from the rear and from the waist down, with a chain-like element connecting its legs, stands on a round wooden base. The ground is paved with light-colored, textured rectangular stone blocks. In the lower left foreground, a large irregular white rock rests on the pavement. Additional debris, including a black metal bar and smaller white stone fragments, are scattered near the base of the displays. A rusted vertical downspout and a dark metal utility box are affixed to the light-colored building wall behind the exhibits.
