The image is a speech delivered by the Commissioner of Police, Kebbi State Command, CP. Bello M. Sani on the visit of the Assistant Inspector General of Police, Zone 10 Headquarters, Sokoto, AIG. Gyogon A. Grimah to Kebbi State Police Command on Wednesday, 30th April, 2025. The speech is addressed to the Assistant Inspector General of Police, Zone 10 Headquarters, Sokoto, AIG. Gyogon A. Grimah, psc, FCAI and his entourage to Kebbi State Command, which is located in the Northwest of Nigeria and shares boarders with the Sokoto, Zamfara, and Niger States and International Boarders with Niger and Benin Republics respectively. The State Police Command came into being after the creation of Kebbi State from old Sokoto State in 1991. There are six Area Commands situated at Argungu, Birnin Kebbi, Bunza, Bagudo, Yauri and Zuru. The Command also has Thirty Seven Divisional Police Headquarters across the 21 Local Government Areas in the State. The speech then discusses the relationship with the state government, noting that there has been a cordial and harmonious working relationship between the State Police Command and Government of the State and Local levels. This effort is making the State and Local Governments to have confidence in the Police. The Commissioner of Police expresses his profound appreciation to the Executive Governor of Kebbi State, Comrade Dr. Nasir Idris (Kauran Gwandu), for his support and assistance to security matters.
