Khan YunisPalestinian Territory

The image displays a multi-story building in the city of Khan Yunis, Palestinian Territory, exhibiting extensive structural damage. The tan/beige colored building shows partial collapse across several levels. On the upper visible floor, white decorative trim and an intact dark-framed window are present, along with surface damage to the facade. Below this, a balcony features a severely bent dark metal railing, over which a reddish-brown fabric is draped. Structural voids and exposed debris are visible behind and below this balcony. Through a gap in this damaged section, a white, cylindrical structure, possibly part of a minaret or dome, is faintly discernable in the background. Further down, a significant section of the building is missing, creating a large, dark, rectangular void where walls and floor once stood. On the lowest visible level, another balcony with an intact railing has multiple items of clothing (white, red, dark) hanging to dry. The overall structure reveals extensive cracking, chipped plaster, and exposed concrete and rebar, consistent with severe impact or collapse. No individuals are visible in the scene. The sky in the background is clear.
